Reliable High-Speed Medical Campus Connectivity
Today’s businesses and academic campuses are comprised of buildings that may be adjacent to one another or span multiple site locations over expansive areas. The campus backbone serves to provide building-to-building and floor-to-floor connectivity, connecting multiple buildings to form a local area network (LAN). To ensure sufficient reach, network reliability and resiliency to weather conditions and electromagnetic interference (EMI), a fiber optic cabling infrastructure is required. Belden FiberExpress infrastructure solutions are uniquely designed to support today’s dynamic and rapid-evolving campus environments. Our fiber portfolio is based on delivering a common infrastructure platform optimized for operational technology and high-performance applications including Ethernet and Gigabit Passive Optical Networks.
